LithiumPicnic, use something like www.zend2.com to access the official wiki and use https for the rest of the guildwars.com site
Both have been inaccessible to me as well for about 3 weeks but I dont think the issue is with ANet servers. Rather it is somewhere inbetween

From their most recent email, dated today, I wouldn't expect them to do anything to fix this. According to them it isn't their problem. This obviously isn't the case since they did a fix that did allow me to access it for a little while. Also multiple ISP's are affected, and people on four different continents.
Their technical support is by far one of the most idiotic people I have had to deal with. For two days all they did is copy-paste solutions on connecting with their game client. They never read that the solutions were tried by a previous technician or tried before even contacting them.

After a lengthy back-and-forth with my own NCsupport ticket, apperently yet again another conclusion has been reached that is "has" to be my ISP that's the problem. However, I don't think trying to gain access to the official wiki is worth staying on hold for two-three hours just to have some lackey at my ISP's branch office to tell me to go on hold tomorrow for five hours to reach a head office where they'll tell me the problem "has" to be server-side because they can't find anything. But don't forget, the official wiki and webside have been down for TWO MONTHS now.

I gave up too. But it is NOT ISP related. All modern browsers I try will not load the pages, but arachne, and sometimes lynx will load. Arachne just loaded the official site in a few seconds. But firefox gives the usual bad server response, or system is overloaded message. The system is overloaded page is on guild wars site, its not an error page generated by firefox.

It could be a misconfigured web server. They could have a timeout that is too low and redirect to a page that says the server is under maintenance or too busy (people with low ping load normally, people with high pings cant load the page). They could have the ip's blocked or redirected. Or it could be something between ISP server. It is most likely just workers are Anet unwilling to fix their own issues.

:/ I have been able to access this fine with no problem, up until yesterday. Now, the official wiki and guildwars.com do not load on my computer. I can use https://www.guildwars.com to very very slowly load the main page sometimes, however obviously this won't work for wiki.
I'm in Australia, so obviously I have a different ISP than others who are having the same problem. Every other aspect of my internet is fine. /Wiki in game does not work, and my good buddy Kun Shao can't take me to the xunlai tournament house.

Still down here. Its been a month now, with no help from Anet's useless tech support.

Were you accessing it previously with https? And did you try refreshing the page and following links? Sometimes I am able to load the front page but I think that it is just loading from cache from when I used https earlier since I am unable to follow any links or refresh.

I see what you mean =/ My front page loads, but thats about it. Links loads forever, and eventually stops in a blank page in Firefox. I guess I'll STILL be using https then.
C'mon, there's got to be some network experts on the site! For what reason would some people, scattered all over the world, on different ISP's etc, NOT be able to load those 2 sites? I'm curious to know.

fusa i experience the same thing. 100% lost packet when ping, lets see, apporximately 12 hours ago, can't even access Guru (its in a state of perpectual loading) or the GW game. Now i'm afraid I won't have time to collect the complete set of ingredient for my canthan new year.... ended up watching Changeling ....
I wish festive event is not on the festival itself ... sucks having to be away 3 year in a row now during canthan celebration ...
